Sharing the Good News at Pillarstone: A Personal Joy
Here at Pillarstone, we believe the Gospel — The Good News — is the most beautiful message anyone can hear. It’s the story of Jesus: how He came to save us, how He loves us, and how through His death and resurrection we can have new life, forgiveness, and hope.
Sharing that message isn’t just something we’re supposed to do, it’s something we get to do. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus told His followers to go and make disciples, to help others know Him the way we do. That calling is still for us today, and we take it to heart as a church family.
You don’t have to be perfect, or have all the right words. At Pillarstone, we believe sharing the Good News starts with living it. Showing kindness, listening well, loving people the way Jesus loves us. It’s about being real. The Gospel shines brightest in everyday life, through simple conversations, a helping hand, or even a smile that says, “You matter.”
People are searching for something real. When they see our faith lived out not with pressure, but with love it makes a difference. 1 Peter 3:15 encourages us to always be ready to share the reason for our hope. Sometimes, that reason is best told through our own stories of how Jesus changed our hearts.
This world is heavy at times. But the Gospel is light. It's hope. It’s peace. At Pillarstone, we want to be a place where that light shines not just on Sundays, but wherever we go.
We’re not ashamed of this message, because it has changed our lives. Romans 1:16 says it clearly: “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”
As Pillars hold up beutiful buidings daily for centries as should we hold up the Kingdom of God in our daily lives.
